Rules For The Selectors?
Do you think that it is high time that the rules be framed for the selectors just like what they have for the players?Don’t you think that it is really unfair to actually announce a team inbetween a series?I’m not writing this just because Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly were dropped for the One Day series. But my point of view is that this axing would affect the best player in the world knowing that he has done his best and yet has been axed for no reason.
Why do you have to announce a team inbetween a series? What do you guys gain out of it?It may also hamper the morale of the team.Even Anil Kumble has expressed his opposition to selecting a team inbetween an on-going series. Those guys who are dropped would be dejected and would have already started to think about how to stage a comeback. That too players like Dravid and Ganguly who are at the peak of their careers and having performed pretty well with Ganguly aggregating more that 1000 runs last calender year would feel that they have been subjected to some harsh decisions.
See the Australians? They found that Shaun Tait was disappointed and was dejected for the same and henceforth have backed him to play the next match also to prove his worth.for this they have rested Mitchelle Johnson for bringing in Brad hogg rather dropping the most probable one,Shaun Tait.Thats the way to boost a side and not to hurt one’s spirit.
So I feel that it is better that BCCI comes up with some sort of Preamble for the selectors.May be they can chart a team and have it ready and announce it at the end of the ongoing series. This way they can lessen the burden on the player going to be dropped.Kindly post your views guys.Anyone against it?All are welcome to comment.

Hmm .. You really think someone would not agree with your opinion ? I really don’t think. And also this isn’t the way to begin a discussion, you need to take a few pointers from me, put up some topic where there can be two different sides. But, then you wanted to keep the discussion safe and clean this is the way to go.
