Zaheer Khan Misses Out
Not having completely recovered from the injury which he sustained during the test series down under, Zaheer Khan has revealed that he is not ready for the upcoming South Africa series at home. He suffered an ankle injury while playing the First Test against Australia at Melbourne and hasn’t played ever since.
He said that he has started Bowling but had a doubt whether he could bowl those 35-40 overs per game in Tests. He also said that his Physio had asked him to take one step at a time and hence would concentrate on playing a few club games and One Dayers.
This means that there would possibly be only one change in our pace battery. Munaf Patel is likely to make way for R.P.Singh. There is also a question mark over Ishanth Sharma’s fitness too. Loads to think of before the first ball is to be bowled at Chennai.
