Sachin Ruled Out

Another big blow to the Indian team. Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the crucial third test at Kanpur. He hasn’t recovered from his groin injury. This is a very serious concern for the Indian team as they have their backs completely against the wall. They can’t afford a loss here.

Another thing to look out for is that Gautam Gambhir is likely to replace Wasim Jaffer in the playing eleven for the final test. This is a good opportunity for the Delhi lad to seal his place.

I’ve also learnt that Dale Steyn has broken Allan Donald’s record of becoming the fastest to 100 wickets in Test matches. This might well be the begining of an era. Look out people.

Jaffer is troubled by express bowlers. Lee claimed his wicket several times in Australia and Steyn has continued the short pitched barrage. He doesn’t seem comfortable on the back foot and I agree that Gambhir deserves a chance.

Not only can India not afford a loss but a draw won’t do either. Don’t expect any South African declarations in Delhi!!
