Shoaib’s Ban Upheld

The troubled Pakistani Speedster Shoaib Akthar still finds himself in the hardest of times as his five-year ban was upheld and the review committee has postponed further appeal till June. This has spelt doomsday for Shoaib Akthar as he can’t play International Cricket till then.

How ever the Committee has cleared him from playing outside Pakistan. But the IPL have made it clear that he can be a part of the league only if he is cleared by PCB. Unless then, he can’t be a part of this league. Kolkatta Knight Riders have also made it clear that they’ll abide by the IPL rules.

Shoaib has made a mockery of the situation as he accused Inzamam-Ul-Haq and Moin Khan of match-fixing and has effectively ruled himself out of ICL. Even the ICL executives have said that they haven’t approached Shoaib Akthar and they haven’t thought about it either. A tough time for this pacer and lets hope that he learns his lesson.
