Not many would have missed Sanath Jayasuriya’s innings in the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. On a track where the batsmen found it little tough to adjust to the bounce and swing, Jayasuriya played a knock that left the opponents gasping for air. He simply took the game away and never gave an opportunity.

Though the crowd came in to see Sachin Tendulkar play, Jayasuriya took the centre stage and displyed his ability in the crucial game. With the return of Sachin Tendulkar and the performance of Shaun Pollock and Jayasuriya bettering their own every game, I feel that Mumbai would sneak in to the final four if Delhi Daredevils manage another couple of poor shows and today’s game against Kolkatta Knight Riders would also be crucial for Mumbai Indians. Lets hope that Jayasuriya and Tendulkar, both come good with the bat to outplay the Kolkatta Knight Riders.

Kolkatta Knight Riders must be on a high after their previous performance against Delhi Daredevils which saw Shoaib Akthar blast his way into IPL. It will be one hell of a contest between the in-form Shoaib Akthar and in-form Sanath Jayasuriya along with eagerly waiting Sachin Tendulkar.
