Ntini Registers A Hatrick
Makhaya Ntini registered his first hatrick in the IPL, the third of the tournament, against Kolkatta Knight Riders. It came in two overs. Ntini got rid of Saurav Ganguly by bowling him out of the last ball of the fifth over of the game. He came back in the seventeenth over to pick up Debabrata Das and David Hussey of the first two balls to complete the hatrick. He finished of with impressive spell with figures of 21/4 of is four overs. This might well be the spell that would spell doomsday for Kolkatta Knight Riders. He was ably supported by Manpreet Gony who finished with figures of 17/0 of his four overs. So Chennai Super Kings boasts of two bowlers who have picked up hatrick in the tournament. Earlier in the tournament, Lakshmipathy Balaji had achieved this feat for the Chennai Super Kings.
