Hyderabad Crowds Suck

Posted in IPL tagged , , , , , at 2:50 pm by techtwist

Did you get to see the match between Delhi Daredevils and the Hyderabad Deccan Chargers a couple of days ago? The stands were completely empty. The reason was stated that the stadium is situated in the outskirts and hence the crowd was less. Even this can be accepted. But did the crowd do justice? Did they have sportsmanship?

Did they even care to acknowledge Virender Sehwag’s innings? He played a gem of an innings and the crowd never even cared to bother about it. Virender Sehwag was surely disappointed with the way they reacted. Now compare this with the crowds else where. They simply enjoyed the game and acknowledged the efforts even if it was from an opponent. They seriously lacked the attitude and it was very disappointing to see that happen. Lets hope they get into the groove soon.

The crowds at Chennai and Kolkatta have been the most active and noisy crowds of the lot.

Quite true. I guess Mumbai crowd was not much different either. Poor Dravid was shocked to receive luke warm response.

I guess in that sense, IPL is dividing India. I only hope the players stay united once they come back for national duty.

Why would the crowd turn up only to see their team lose? Hyderabad team is not gelling at all and it looks like they’re not going to improve till some drastic change happens.
